Our Story

Entrepreneur Zahid Hanif established Zain Collection with the dream of using his fine tailoring skills to create reliable, comfortable, and affordable Muslim Hijabs. Since 2016, Zain Collection has become a nationally recognized brand for its reliability, high quality, and versatility.

Today we are rapidly expanding manufacturers that specialize in Tudung sarung. With 10 collections and over 200 designs, we aim to continue spreading our love for convenient, comfortable, and reliable products. To maintain our focus on the quality of our products and designs, we conduct all of our sales in wholesale and outsource the retail avenue to other agents. So join the Zain Family today! History

2002 – Our history dates back to 2002 when entrepreneur Zahid Hanif, armed with 13 years of experience in dying, tailoring, designing, and manufacturing, bought the startup company Nanyang Hub Sdn Bhd. At the time, operations were limited to simple trading due to capital constraints.

2008 – Dabbled into joint ventures with other local startups to introduce new fabric and product lines from Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, China, and Korea.

2010 – Developed a manufacturing unit to produce finished Muslim products and sold them as unbranded wearables.

2012 – Started OEM work for retailers of Muslim products in Selangor.

2016 – Launched Zain Collection. A brand under the parent company Nanyang Hub that specializes in Muslim headscarves. The brand’s objective was to be an indicator and assurance of quality.

2020 – Expanded supply chains across Malaysia and entered the online market.

2023 – Increasing product lines to include branded garments and entering the international market by supplying Southeast Asian countries.
